Eyeglasses and Hearing Aids Needed by Ollie Wittig To meet our commitment to better vision and hearing, the Severn River Lions Club collects used eyeglasses and hearing aids for recycling to less fortunate individuals. Twice yearly our club and other Lions Clubs in the District meet to sort through thousands of pairs of eyeglasses and prepare them for sanitizing and grading before they are shipped to many third world countries as part of the international campaign to help improve quality of living. Currently, SRLC has large blue and gold collection boxes around the area where surplus eyeglasses and hearing aids can be deposited. If you have either eyeglasses or hearing aids, they can be deposited in the boxes at the following locations: Severna Park Library Super Giant/Severna Park Shipley's Medical Center 2 boxes-upstairs/downstairs Peeper's-Park Plaza Ft.
